Welcome to NEIGHBORING!

NEIGHBORING is privileged to serve the behavioral health care needs of residents of Lake County, Ohio. Established in 1969 by two caring nurses and some help from their friends, we are now in our 40th year of providing services to Northeast Ohio. Over the years the organization has grown and widened our array of available outpatient services to the "one stop shop" agency that we are today. NEIGHBORING exists to empower adults with mental illness and substance use disorders to live, learn, work and participate fully in family and community. We hope and believe this will be your experience too.

As NEIGHBORING is celebrating our 40th Anniversary we would like to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of people that have given of their time, talents and treasure over the past four decades. The organization we are today is because so many people have and do give so generously of themselves. We thank them all!
